Got really happy for several reasons today. Firstly, Hair Visuals is going to sponsor me on all of my future hair jobs. Yes... just how lucky am i. I am so super happy. Feel so blessed. Secondly, i went to Glittz Smile Dental Surgery By FDC to see my final results of my clear braces/aligners. The results is perfect!!! Too perfect. A little bit about my teeth. I just recently had my wisdom tooth removed in a hospital under General Anesthesia because i am dentophobia. I fear dentist so much that even by looking at the dentist chair makes me nauseous!!! So i got "clever" and thought that i just needed to extract my impacted wisdoms (and of course my wisdoms are giving me pain) and i can start my clear braces but i was dead wrong!
I had my impression and xrays taken weeks back and they have to send my impression to U.S for them to create my perfect smile. Weeks later the report is back... the journey to the perfect smile was announced to me today. It was super perfect and it will bring my slightly protruding mouth backwards. So perfect that it will completely change my smile and my projection. Just that i need to extract 4 more teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bammed!!! Slammed on my face. I choked alittle bit. I managed to regain my composure. I stared at the doctor. Is extraction the only way?! I thought that i can get away from facing extractions awake which is the reason why i had opt for General Anesthesia in a hospital. I was dead wrong! I swallowed my saliva and i asked him if there's another way... he said there is but the end results will not be as perfect as it is as shown on the computer screen.
The doctor at Glittz Smile Dental Surgery made me so brave and comfortable that i am surprised myself that i had agreed to extract all 4 of them at 1 go awake!!! First time in my life i am so comfortable with a dentist?!!! What?!!! Make your trip down to them and you will put all your fears behind just like me. I promise...
And so he told me, i will need to be injected 8 times for removal of 4 teeth. Damned!!! I agreed!!! He made me feel so comfortable and fearless. I guess who your dentist is makes a great deal of a difference. And so my extractions is scheduled a day after christmas and recieving my first aligners will be 3 days later. I am excited. For the first time i have not much fear. The dentist is good!!! The place is awesome. And did i even mention to you that there's an assistant by the name of Kyle at the front counter... trust me she's gonna make your bad day turn around. Very loveable!!! So why suffer with all the fears that you had just like me previously? You have a choice and you can make your choice. That is, choose a right dentist!
